Financial grants have started distributing to the families of people who died of corona in the state. The government is giving 50-50 thousand rupees to the next of kin of the deceased. So far, about 13 thousand 600 applications have been received by the government. To distribute the affected, the first installment of Rs 7.50 crore has been released by the government.
The Revenue and Disaster Management Department has sent this money from the Disaster Response Fund to the districts. This amount is also 5% more than the number of applications that have come so far. The grant money is being deposited in the bank accounts of the next of kin of the deceased. Along with releasing the money, the collectors have been told that they have to spend the money for the purpose for which they are being given.
This money should not be spent in any other work. Withdrawals are to be made as per requirement and under no circumstances will a lump sum amount be withdrawn in anticipation of expenditure. The report of its withdrawal and expenditure has been sought from the collectors in a month. If there is a need for more money than the prescribed, then the collectors will have to send the demand letter to the department. The savings amount will have to be surrendered to the government.
