Kanpur, [विवेक मिश्र], In the new education policy, there is an emphasis on developing the art of teaching not only reading. In this episode, now IIT professors will teach the art of teaching science and mathematics to the teachers of government schools. For this, the Director of School Education and State Project has tied up with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. This agreement has been done for one year under the Monitoring and Mentoring of Government Schools of Uttar Pradesh project.

22 thousand teachers of eight circles will be trained: Under the Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan, IIT professors will train teachers of science and mathematics subjects through various modules. Anurag Pandey, Senior Project Engineer and Coordinator of IIT Kanpur told that Prof. Under the direction of Dr. Ameya Karkare, the team will train 22 thousand teachers of Agra, Aligarh, Bareilly, Kanpur, Lucknow, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Meerut divisions. The experts in the team will train teachers to develop teaching skills, develop scientific temper in children, promote academic support and incorporate technology into education.

Better relationship between teacher-parents will be made: Coordinator Anurag Pandey said that this project has been prepared to bridge the gap between school education and higher education. Training will be given on project based pedagogy and incorporation of technology in education. Methods of teaching, tips to build better relationship with parents will also be given in the module. This will lead to better parent-teacher relationship. He said that one day a week training would be given on the online platform. The training program will be conducted through internet media. The team will go to the schools and give training.
