Fake Teachers Case in UP: Lucknow [राज्य ब्यूरो], In the schools run by the Basic Education Council of Uttar Pradesh, the process of appointing teachers through fake and forged records is not stopping. The Special Task Force (STF) has found in the investigation that 228 fake teachers are teaching children in council schools. These are the candidates who have been successful in getting the teacher’s job on the basis of fake and forged records.

The process of getting jobs by using fake records in the appointments of teachers in the council schools of Uttar Pradesh has been an old one. Hundreds of such teachers have been identified in the investigation conducted from time to time against whom the action of dismissal has also been taken. The latest case is of these 228 teachers.

The UP STF had received complaints regarding the appointments of teachers in the council schools of Uttar Pradesh. When the STF investigated these complaints, 228 teachers were found who were successful in getting jobs on the basis of fake and forged records.

These teachers are posted in more than three dozen districts of the state. These include Deoria, Basti, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Sant Kabir Nagar, Balrampur, Gonda, Shravasti, Siddharthnagar, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Bhadohi, Sonbhadra, Lucknow, Sitapur, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Unnao, Barabanki, Districts include Sultanpur, Amethi, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Kanpur Nagar, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Agra, Firozabad, Shahjahanpur and Mathura etc.

The STF has sent letters to the Basic Education Officers of the respective districts to take action against these teachers. Earlier, in the investigation, the STF had exposed the case of teachers getting jobs on the basis of a large number of fake records in Mathura. In December last year, the STF had written a letter to the District Basic Education Officer of Mathura asking him to provide the educational records of 176 suspected teachers.
