3 MBBS students burnt alive in car: were on their way from Rohtak to Haridwar; I-20 collided with barricade in Sonipat, 3 others scorched

Three MBBS students who were traveling in a car were burnt alive in a tragic accident in Haryana’s Sonipat. His other three accomplices are badly injured, who have been taken to PGI Rohtak. The accident happened when the i20 car collided with a stone barricade on the road. The students in the car were going from Rohtak to Haridwar. The bodies of the three deceased students have been kept at the civil hospital in Sonipat for post-mortem.

It has been told that Pulkit and Narbir resident of Narnaul, Sandesh resident of Rewari, Rohit resident of Sector-57 Gurugram, Ankit resident of Khidwani village of Rohtak, Sombir, resident of Kalanaur are doing MBBS in Rohtak PGI. They left for Haridwar from Rohtak in an I-20 car on Thursday morning. From the National Highway 334B that goes from Jhajjar to Meerut, they reached Sonepat. Meanwhile, when his car reached near Bahalgarh flyover, the car driver could not see the stone barricade on the road. His car collided with it at high speed.

The car collided with the cement barricade placed in the middle of the road on the Bahalgarh flyover.

The car rammed into the car after hitting the barricade. The students could not get out. Due to less traffic on the road at night, the students trapped in the car could not get immediate help. A fire broke out in the car. After some time people in other vehicles passing by started the rescue work. By then, three students, Pulkit, Sandesh and Rohit, who were in the car, had died due to burns. In this, 3 other Ankit, Sombir and Narbir were taken out by the people, they were badly scorched and were injured. He was taken to PGI Rohtak at night.

It has been told that the flyover of NH-334B near Rai village has been closed by placing stone barricades. There is a way forward from under the flyover. The students in the car were not aware of the road closure. Suddenly his car collided with the barricade kept on the road. Within no time the car caught fire.

After the information of the accident, the police also reached the spot and after investigation sent the bodies of the three to the civil hospital in Sonipat. With the help of the injured students, information was sent to their families. At present, the police is investigating the accident.
