Acting on a tip-off, 6 cyber thugs have been arrested by the Katrisarai police station of Nalanda district on Friday. All the cyber thugs were caught from Katardih and Kamal Bigha villages of Katrisarai police station area. During the press conference at Qatari Sarai police station, Rajgir DSP Pradeep Pal said that cyber thugs were working in a group, whose secret information was received by the Superintendent of Police, Nalanda, on whose instructions a team was formed under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rajgir.
The Qatarisarai Police has raided Katardih and Kamal Bigha villages in the police station area and arrested a total of 6 accused from the garden and the house. The DSP said that all these people were cheating the common citizens by luring them to get agricultural loans or other offers in the name of getting a vehicle from the agency, an attendance register has also been recovered from them, out of which 30 other people apart from these six. A named FIR has been lodged against him.
