There is a heated debate on Twitter between former Indian bowler Venkatesh Prasad and cricket expert Aakash Chopra on Rahul.
In fact, former fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad is constantly demanding KL Rahul’s ouster from the team, while Akash Chopra is supporting Rahul. Venkatesh Prasad shared Rahul’s figure and raised questions on his selection. Prasad even went so far as to say that Shikhar Dhawan has better numbers than KL Rahul, who is currently out of the team.
In a recent series of tweets, Prasad hit out at Aakash Chopra and accused him, writing “So my friend Aakash Chopra this morning after making a nasty video on YouTube where he calls me an agenda peddle, Easily and cleverly misquotes me, removes Mayank’s average of 70 at home, wants to stifle ideas that are not in line with his belief but wanted Rohit out.
Venkatesh Prasad also said that in 2012, when the current captain of the Indian team, Rohit Sharma was not showing anything amazing with the bat, Akash had advocated to drop him from the team.
