‘AAP’ workers should work to protect Constitution: Kejriwal

New Delhi, Nov 26 (PTI) On the occasion of completion of nine years of the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said people’s expectations from the party have increased and he urged his workers to protect the Constitution. requested to work in this direction.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also congratulated the party workers.

Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) convener, also paid tribute to the soldiers martyred in the 26/11 terrorist attack and also saluted the spirit of the farmers on the completion of one year of the farmers’ movement.

Kejriwal tweeted, “Today is Constitution Day. Today it has been nine full years since the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party. With every passing day, the hopes and faith of the people of the country is increasing in AAP. My appeal to all the ‘AAP’ workers is that we have to work hard day and night in the defense of the Constitution of the country and in the service of the people.

Paying homage to the soldiers martyred in the 26/11 terrorist attack, Kejriwal said, “I bow to the immortal martyrdom of our brave jawans who laid down their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai attack to serve the nation. This country will always be indebted to its brave martyrs.

The Chief Minister congratulated the farmers on the completion of one year of their agitation against the three agricultural laws. The central government had announced to withdraw this law last week.

Kejriwal tweeted, “Today the farmers’ movement completes one year. This historical movement faced many intrigues along with heat-cold, rain-storm. The farmer of the country taught us all that how to fight for the right with patience. I salute the courage, courage, spirit and sacrifice of the farmer brothers.
