The office bearers of the ABVP unit of HPTU based in Hamirpur in Himachal have accused the state government of their own party. The government is not fulfilling their demands related to this institution. Promises are being made, but all are proving to be hollow. The demands are being ignored.

Unit President Sakshi Chandel has clearly said that the students will support only those who will provide facilities for them here. Unit Secretary Akshay Kumar was also present on this occasion. Organization officials say that the promises of the state government are hollow. Every demand is being ignored. There is also no bus facility to reach the Technical University. Students have to walk for many kilometers.

Their main demands include providing bus facility, providing hostel facility which is not there yet. Here the fees are high and the facilities are less. Those facilities should be given to the students in a proper manner. The state government is only baking its political bread by making promises.

Here the students are being deprived of basic facilities. Many decisions can be taken in the BOG meeting. But the local MLAs have not even reached this meeting. Chandel said that the organization of the Vidyarthi Parishad came in 1949, while the Bharatiya Janata Party came many years after that. Their organization will support only that government, which will provide their basic facilities.
