Action: District CEO who commented on government schemes was sent to Bijapur

The CEO of Janpad Panchayat Antagarh, who made a controversial statement against Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, has been transferred to Bijapur district along with the plan of the Chhattisgarh government during the officer-employee movement. This transfer is being linked to the controversial statement made by the CEO. After this statement, there was definitely an inquiry against the CEO but no concrete action has been taken till now.

CEO Punit Ram Sahu had made rhetoric against the Chhattisgarh government during the strike of Chhattisgarh Federation Staff Officer on August 29. Along with this, the government’s Gothan scheme was said to be unsuccessful and the Paddy Purchase Bonus Scheme was beneficial to the leaders.

When the video went viral, Congress workers of Antagarh had demanded action by calling the CEO an agent of BJP. MLA Anoop Nag had also demanded action. The Collector constituted a three-member investigation team and sent it to Antagarh for investigation on September 2. Apart from the District CEO, the statement was recorded after questioning 6 officers and employees of the Federation.

The names of 6 officers are in the list of transfers issued by Martin Lakra, Under Secretary, Chhattisgarh Government. It also includes the name of Antagarh Janpad Panchayat CEO Punit Ram Sahu. He has been shifted from Kanker district to Bijapur district. It is clear from this that to cool the matter in Kanker, he was sent from here to another place.
