The business of making raw liquor is increasing rapidly in the district. Raw liquor being made in different areas is harming the health of the people. On Tuesday, the District Excise teams took action on similar complaints at different places across the district. In this action, 2100 liters of raw liquor was recovered from different areas by the team. Which was destroyed by the teams on the spot. Along with this, a case has also been registered against many people under the Excise Act.
District Excise Officer Lokesh Joshi said that there were many complaints about making raw liquor in different areas. Action was taken on this under the leadership of Ajmer Excise Officer Ramlal Meena. Under which raids were carried out in the forests of Sanganer, Kuwara Khan, Pur, Pansal, Mandalgarh, Kasia, Manoharpura, Bigod, Mahua, Saran ka Kheda, Bada Kheda, Bindiya Bhata and Jahazpur areas of Bhilwara. The team got different furnaces for making raw liquor from these areas, six Bhatis from these areas have been destroyed by the team. Also 221 handcuffed bottles have been recovered. Apart from this, 2100 liters of wash prepared for making raw liquor has been destroyed. During this, the team has registered a case against 11 people who made these liquors.
