Through forensic audit, the secret properties of chit fund companies and investments made in shell companies will be traced. The police suspect that many companies have invested people’s money in shell companies. Because of this, those money and properties are not known.
Probably this will be the first forensic audit, which will be scientific and hi-tech. At the same time, continuous action is being taken against the absconding directors of chit fund companies on the instructions of CM Bhupesh Baghel. Meanwhile, Raipur Police on Thursday arrested two absconding directors of Gold Key Infraventure Dhanesh Kumar Verma and Govardhan Prasad Verma. Along with this, Anil Sharma and Anand Nirmalkar, directors of chit fund company BN Gold, have been arrested from Maharashtra. After the strictness of the government, now the accounts of each company and directors will be scrutinized. If needed, the accounts of relatives will also be checked. During this, it will be checked from where the money comes in their account? To which accounts or companies was the money transferred? It will be detected.
47 cases in Raipur, more than 2.40 lakh applications
In August, applications were invited from people whose money has been sunk in chit fund companies. In this, the victims had to give the invested amount, company bond paper and bank account number. People have submitted each and every document related to the chit fund company along with their application on the hope of getting money. In Raipur district itself, more than 2.40 lakh applications have been submitted in 47 cases. Online entry of these applications is being done. From this it will be known that how many investors of which chit fund company have to return the amount.
So far seven directors have been arrested
After apprehending 2 directors absconding from Balodabazar, Raipur Police has also arrested 2 chit fund directors. An FIR was lodged against this company by Sanad Kumar Sahu, a farmer of Dharsiwa at DD Nagar police station. Significantly, so far 7 chit fund directors have been arrested. At the same time, police teams have been sent to Rajasthan, West Bengal, Odisha, UP and other states by issuing production warrants for the arrest of the accused lodged in the jails of other states.
Soon property worth 2 crores will be auctioned
Soon the assets of 2 chit fund companies worth Rs 2 crore will be auctioned. A separate group of lawyers is being prepared for the defense of the companies whose properties are in the court. They are doing online entry of all the applications received in the district so that everyone can get the money back.
