Bharti Airtel is soon going to increase the prepaid tariff by up to 25%. In a statement issued on Monday, the company said that from November 26, the tariff will be increased based on the current price of prepaid plans. The company has also said that the increase in mobile prepaid tariff will help the company to increase the average revenue per user.

Earlier this year, Sunil Bharti Mittal, chairman of Bharti Airtel had announced an increase in the tariff rate. Airtel had said that the increase in prices will help maintain a healthy business model within the company and enable the company to invest in the upcoming 5G technology. The telco wants an average revenue per user of Rs 300. Which is currently Rs 153 per user. However, the Airtel tariff hike can be challenging for the customers, especially those who have subscribed to the most affordable packs offered by Airtel.
