On Diwali, all the companies try to woo the customers with new offers. Meanwhile, Airtel has come up with a new cashback offer for its prepaid customers. Airtel has announced a cashback of Rs 6,000 on select smartphone purchases. This offer is for those customers who buy a phone worth more than Rs 12,000. This offer is applicable on any smartphone from Samsung, Realme, Nokia, Lenovo, Xiaomi, Vivo and other companies.
Cashback offer is available only for Airtel prepaid customers. For this offer, after purchasing a new phone, Airtel users will have to activate a recharge pack worth Rs 249 or more in their phone. Customers will have to recharge the Rs 249 pack for 36 consecutive months. During this the company will distribute the cashback in 2 installments.
How to avail Airtel cashback offer?
When a customer recharges continuously with Rs 249, they will be given Rs 2,000 after 18 months. 4000 will be given on completion of second installment of 36 months. The cashback will be transferred to the customer’s Airtel Payments account. To avail the offer, users need to recharge their new 4G smartphone (below Rs 12,000) on an Airtel connection within 30 days of purchasing the device. Please note that those who forget or fail to avail the first installment of the cashback will not be eligible for the second cashback.
Recently Indian telecom giant Airtel along with Ericsson on Tuesday tested India’s first 5G network in rural setup. According to a press release issued by Ericsson, the test was declared successful. The test was conducted in Bhaipur Brahman village on the outskirts of Delhi-NCR. During the test, the ability to use the 5G spectrum was analyzed. Airtel Telecom was allotted 5G spectrum by the Department of Telecommunications.
