Apart from this, if voters of other castes get along with the self-caste, then the candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party can get a tough fight here. Overall, Akhilesh Yadav has presented a tough challenge in front of Yogi Adityanath by fielding Amarpal Sharma from Sahibabad seat.

Let us inform that out of the five assembly constituencies in Ghaziabad, Sahibabad has the highest number of voters with more than 10 lakh voters. The number of male voters in this assembly constituency is 5.71 lakh, the number of female voters is 4.40 lakh. At the same time, Mod Nagar assembly constituency has the lowest number of 3.3 lakh voters. There are 189 transgender votes in the district.

Amarpal Sharma contests elections from new political party every time

He had joined the Samajwadi Party in June 2021 for a ticket in the 2022 assembly elections and now he has also got a ticket from Sahibabad.

This is the reason that after being expelled from the BSP, the Congress took him by the hands of the year 2017 and made him a candidate immediately. When Congress-SP entered the fray as a joint candidate, there was a contest between MLA Sunil Sharma and Amarpal Sharma.

It is worth noting that in terms of the number of voters, Sunil Sharma is currently the MLA from Sahibabad from the seat of Sahibabad, the largest assembly of UP. The notification for the polling for the five assembly seats of Ghazibad was issued on Friday. The last date for filing nomination papers is January 21. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on January 24. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is January 27. Voting will be held on February 10 and the result will be out on March 10. Most of the 11 seats (Noida, Dadri, Jewar, Garhmukteshwar, Hapur, Dhaulana, Ghaziabad, Sahibabad, Modi Nagar, Muradnagar and Loni) of Hapur, Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad in NCR are occupied by the Bharatiya Janata Party.
