New Delhi, Jnn. The pace of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s film Sooryavanshi has slowed down a bit in the third week. Especially, after the weekend, there was a significant drop in the collections of the film on Monday. For the first time, the film’s collections were less than 2 crores. Suryavanshi, which has traveled 18 days at the box office, has made a net collection of 180 crores.

Sooryavanshi had its 18th day in theaters on 22 November and the collections were 1.88 crores. With this, the film’s 18-day net box office collection has gone up to 180.48 crores. If we take the average of Suryavanshi’s daily collections, then the film has done a net collection of 10 crores everyday.

If we talk about Akshay Kumar’s highest grosser films, then his most successful film is Housefull 4, which came in 2019. The film had a net collection of 206 crores. After this there is Good News, which had collected 201 crores. This film was also released in 2019 itself. Mission Mangal, which came in 2019 itself, had collected around 200 crores. At the same time, the English version of 2.0, which came in 2018, collected 188 crores. In this film, Akshay shared screen space with superstar Rajinikanth. That is, Sooryavanshi has become Akshay Kumar’s fifth highest grosser film. Now it remains to be seen whether the film surpasses 2.0’s collections or not?

Sooryavanshi, which released in theaters on November 5, entered the third week on November 19. The film collected 12.36 crores in the third weekend. The film did a net collection of 166.23 crores at the box office till the second week, while collected 120.67 crores in the first week. Sooryavanshi got an opening of 26.29 crores, while the film collected 77.08 crores in the opening weekend.

Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji’s film Bunty Aur Babli 2, which released on November 19, could not give any competition to Sooryavanshi. The film collected only 8.30 crores in the opening weekend. John Abraham’s Satyamev Jayate 2 is releasing on 25 November and Salman Khan’s Last – The File Truth on 26 November. Sooryavanshi’s collections may be affected after the arrival of both these films.
