New Delhi, Jnn. Akshay Kumar’s film Sooryavanshi is not taking the name of getting tired. In the third weekend also, the film continued its momentum and collected a good collection of around 12 crores. If we look at the box office collection of the film in the third weekend, then one thing is clear that Suryavanshi does not feel any threat from the new release Bunty Aur Babli 2. Despite being an opening weekend, Bunty Aur Babli 2 could only collect around 8 crores. Let us tell you the box office collection figures of both the films in detail.

Sooryavanshi, which released in theaters on November 5, entered the third week on November 19. In the third weekend, the film made a net collection of 3.26 crores on Friday. The film collected 3.77 crores on Saturday and 5.33 crores on Sunday, taking the film’s 17-day net collection to 178.60 crores. The film is now only 21.40 crores away from the 200 crore mark.

The film did a net collection of 166.23 crores at the box office till the second week, while collected 120.67 crores in the first week. Sooryavanshi got an opening of 26.29 crores, while the film collected 77.08 crores in the opening weekend.

Sooryavanshi heavy on Bunty Aur Babli 2 in the third weekend

Yash Raj Banner’s film Bunty Aur Babli released in theaters on 19 November. The film starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh was released on 1800 screens in the country and 700 screens overseas.

Bunty Aur Babli 2 collected 2.60 crores on the first day at the box office, while the film could collect only 2.50 crores on the second day. On the third day of release i.e. Sunday, the film collected 3.20 crores, which is less than the Friday collections of Sooryavanshi. While Sooryavanshi collected 12.36 crores in its third weekend, Bunty Aur Babli 2 could collect only 8.30 crores. Obviously, Bunty Aur Babli 2 is not going to prove to be a big threat for Sooryavanshi. It is also to be kept in mind here that Sooryavanshi was launched on about 3500 screens at the domestic box office itself.
