Giving a big update on Amritpal Singh, Punjab Police said that he is still absconding. Punjab Police has stopped internet services in Punjab to stop any kind of rumours. Meanwhile, Amritpal’s ISI connection and funding of his organization ‘Waris Punjab De’ from Pakistan has also been revealed.

Police is on high alert all over Punjab. Security has been increased in every area. After the action on Amritpal, there is a high alert in all the jails of Punjab. Police force has been deployed in many cities.
Earlier the news of detention came
Punjab Police remained in full action mode against Amritpal Singh on Saturday. Earlier the news had come that Amritpal Singh has been taken into custody by the police. After the action against Amritpal, his supporters gathered at the Mohali border.
Amritpal declared a fugitive
Amritpal has been declared a proclaimed offender by the Punjab Police. Till now 78 associates including Daljit Kalsi associated with ‘Waris Punjab De’ organization have been arrested.
Police surrounded Amritpal’s village
Police deployment is large near the village of Amritpal. Paramilitary force has been deployed on the spot. Blockades have also been installed in many other cities, strong security arrangements have also been made. Apart from this, teams of Rapid Action Force and CRPF have also been deployed. To deal with any situation, the entire village has been converted into a cantonment. Internet and block SMS services have been suspended in Punjab. These services will remain closed till 12 noon on Sunday.
Action after 22 days of Ajnala incident
Actually, the Punjab government was surrounded by Amritpal. Amritpal was roaming freely after the attack on the police. Due to which there was a continuous attack on the government by the opposition. The AAP government of Punjab was under pressure due to opposition protests. After the Ajnala incident, on March 2, state CM Bhagwant Mann had come to meet Amit Shah. There was a conversation between the two leaders for about 40 minutes. After the meeting, on March 6, the Center sent the Punjab Para Military Force to the G-20. It had 18 CRPF-RAF units. The force remained in Punjab even after the G-20 was over. Meanwhile, Amritpal continued to challenge the administration. Provocative posters were put up at various places in Punjab. Amritpal Singh had also threatened Home Minister Shah.
