In Sikandra area, the police has not been able to reach the man and woman who picked up the seven-month-old boy and an attempt was made to lift the four-year-old child while playing outside the house in the police station Etma-ud-daula. Fortunately, the child’s grandmother made a noise after seeing it and people caught the kidnapper. Police is busy interrogating the youth.
According to the information, Sheela Devi, resident of Yamuna Bridge, Moti Bagh, under Etmauddaula police station, was cooking at home and her four-and-a-half-year-old grandson Himanshu alias Akash was playing outside the door. During this, a young man came there and started talking to the child by seducing him. Meanwhile, suddenly the young man picked up the child and started running. During this, Sheela Devi’s eyes fell on him and she ran after the young man making noise. During this, the local people ran and caught him.

Sheela Devi has called 112 police and got the youth arrested and they say that there were other people with the youth who have fled during the uproar. The police is interrogating the youth as well as checking the surrounding CCTV footage.
