There is bargaining for delivery in Garhwa Sadar Hospital of Jharkhand. A newborn went on the gift of this bargain. He died before birth. The woman was in pain for 1 hour. Keep pleading for treatment, but the nurse did not touch the woman until the deal was settled. By the time the treatment started it was too late.
Sangeeta Devi, wife of Sunil Paswan, resident of Lamari Khurd village of Kandi police station area, was brought to Sadar Hospital for delivery. Pooja Kumari, who was on duty here, demanded three thousand in the name of delivery. First the family members of the woman expressed their inability. Later, after the intervention of Sahiya didi, the deal was settled for Rs 1500. Meanwhile, an hour passed and the woman’s condition worsened.
Even in the name of burying the newborn, the payment of money for the transaction did not stop only till the delivery room. The scavengers also took out their expenses from the woman immersed in the grief of her child. 50 -50 rupees were also taken by the cleaning workers in the name of burial of the dead newborn’s body.
Victim’s pain – Had the child been treated in time, the child would have survived
Maternity Chinta Devi told the daily that if the treatment had started on time, the child would not have died. She told that she was suffering from pain for about an hour. Whereas she said that if Sahiya Phula Devi did not come in the middle, she would not have been ready to accept below 3000.

In this regard, ANM Pooja Kumari said that the allegation of taking money is completely wrong. He has not demanded any money. The child had died in the mother’s womb only a few days ago. The whole body of the child was shrunken. It was smelling too.

In this regard, Civil Surgeon Kamlesh Kumar said that information about the matter has been received. After getting the information, ANM Pooja Kumari has been immediately removed from work. The matter is under investigation. Action will be taken if found guilty.
