A six-page suicide note written in the name of SP
Before committing suicide, engineer Rishabh had written a six-page suicide note in the name of SP, which has been seized by the police. He has written that four lakh rupees were borrowed from Jitendra Mishra. In lieu of this, Jitendra used to charge 40 thousand rupees interest every week. Apart from this, Rishabh had also borrowed four lakh rupees from Congress leader and ward number one councilor Amit Bharate in different installments. The councilor had given him three lakh rupees per month at 10 percent interest. Similarly, 10 percent interest was charged every day for one lakh.
Got the wife’s jewelry mortgaged
The engineer told in his suicide note that he got upset by paying interest to the moneylenders. Unable to pay the interest, the moneylenders got his wife’s jewelery mortgaged to the gold loan company. At the same time, expensive watches and electronic goods have been financed in the name of both. Even after this, they used to harass husband and wife.
Written in the suicide note – now there is no way but to die
Engineer Rishabh was a resident of Asma City. In the suicide note, the full story of the torture of Congress leaders has been written. He has written that he is fed up with these people. Now I don’t have the courage. Because I cannot fight them, nor can I give money according to their mind. Being a Congress corporator, I cannot do anything for these people. My family has no hand in all these transactions. Don’t bother them. Today I am very compelled to take this step. Now I have no stamina left. I have no choice but to die. Please punish them all.
Case registered for abetment to suicide
After recording the engineer’s suicide note and the statement of his wife Shruti Nigam, the police registered a case of abetment to suicide and loan act against accused Congress leader and councilor Amit Bharate, sarpanch Sandeep Mishra and Jitendra Mishra. After receiving the postmortem report, the police has also sent the engineer’s suicide note to handwriting expert for investigation.
Police appeal to complain against usurers
After the death of the engineer and the suicide note surfaced, SSP Parul Mathur has taken such a case seriously. He has directed all the Thanedars to take strict action on the complaint of usury. At the same time, in the social media account of Bilaspur Police, instead of being afraid of the moneylenders, an appeal has been made to complain to the concerned police station.
