Facebook has meanwhile banned certain accounts from several individuals and organizations suspected of being involved in terrorism-related activities, reflecting the motives of the US government and military.
According to The Intercept, a Facebook list that was leaked a few days ago included more than 4,000 individuals and groups that spread hate, criminality, terrorism and social movements on the platform. On the other hand, according to the report, the company that ‘un-equally censor’ different communities has also included a copy of the DOI list which as a personal document helps which posts need to be removed from the platform. Tier 1, which includes accused terrorist groups, hate groups and criminal organizations, is the most restrictive.
