The film ‘Roti’ is presented by Madhu Manjul Arts. It is produced and directed by Dhirendra Kumar Jha and Geeta Tiwari Productions. The writer is Om Prakash Yadav while the music is composed by Munna Dubey. Director Dhirendra Kumar Jha has expressed happiness over the film being sent for the National Award. He said that it is a matter of pride for Bhojpuri speaking people and film industry. We have increased the graph of films in our industry, but without national and international recognition, there seems to be some incompleteness.
He further added that “Such honors always motivate you to do good films. Keeping in mind the entertainment, we have designed Roti as a class cinema. We are hopeful that the film will not only be liked by the audience, and will also win the National Award in Bhojpuri this year. We are completing the entire process. May you all pray for this too.”
Meanwhile, talking about the cast of the film, it stars Kunal Tiwari, Kajal Yadav, Sonalika Prasad, Prakash Jais and Amit Shukla in the lead roles. The same PRO of this film is Sanjay Bhushan Patiala.
