New Delhi IANS. The Lok Sabha Bulletin on Tuesday listed The Farm Laws Repeal Bill, 2021 to repeal three controversial agriculture laws announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 19. There is every possibility that the bill will be introduced on the first day of the session beginning on November 29.
According to the Lok Sabha bulletin, this bill is to repeal the ‘Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, Agreement on Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Price Assurance, Agricultural Services Act, 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020′. will be offered for.
Announcing the repeal of three agriculture laws passed by Parliament last year, PM Modi had also said that its process would be started in the winter session. Farmers have been agitating for almost a year to repeal these laws and get legal support for Minimum Support Price (MSP).
A total of 26 new bills have been listed in the bulletin along with regulation of crypto currency. But there is no bill related to MSP in it. The farmers agitating under the aegis of the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) have already announced that their agitation will continue till the MSP gets legal backing.
