BMW Motorrad has launched its new C 400 GT premium maxi scooter in India. Its starting price has been fixed at Rs 9.95 lakh ex-showroom. With this, it has become the most expensive scooter in the scooter segment. The BMW C 400 GT scooter will be completely imported. This scooter will be just Rs 1 lakh cheaper than BMW’s bikes F 900 R and F900 XR. Also, BMW’s entry-level motorcycles will be three times more expensive than the BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS.
Speed to 100 in 9.5 seconds
The scooter has a 350 cc water cooled engine. BMW Motorrad claims that this scooter can accelerate from 0-100 kph in just 9.5 seconds. Also the top speed of the scooter is 140 kph.
The scooter weighs 214 kg. The fuel tank capacity is 12.8 liters. The scooter gets ABS disc brake system. The scooter starts without the key. The scooter gets an anti-theft alarm system to protect it from theft. The scooter is available in 2 color options Alpine White and Style Triple Black.
