New Delhi, Jnn. Ranbir Kapoor’s film Brahmastra will complete two weeks in theaters on Thursday and the third week of the film will start from Friday. In these two weeks, Brahmastra did not face any such challenge, which would threaten any kind of box office, but the third week will not be easy for the film.

Sunny Deol’s Chup – Revenge of the Artist and R Madhavan’s Dhoka – Round the Corner are hitting the theaters on Friday (23 September). However, National Cinema Day is also being celebrated on this day, due to which the ticket for each film will be Rs 75.

Slow down in second week

Brahmastra, running in the second week, collected around 4 crores on Tuesday, after which its 12-day net collection has gone up to around 217 crores. The pace of the film has slackened quite a bit in the second week as compared to the first week. Especially, after the second weekend, there has been a significant drop in the collections. In such a situation, this week will not be easy for Brahmastra.

Released on September 9, Brahmastra took an opening of 36 crores at the domestic box office and collected 120 crores in the opening weekend. The film has also been released in 2D as well as 3D and IMAX formats in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages along with Hindi.

The challenge of these films will increase from Friday

There are many films hitting the theaters this Friday, but one of the films that could challenge Brahmastra is R Balki’s Chup – The Revenge of the Artist. It is a murder mystery, starring Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan, Pooja Bhatt and Shreya Dhanwantri in lead roles. The theme of the film is quite different.
