The Cabinet has approved a proposal to increase the age of marriage of girls from 18 to 21, on which Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that the aim of doing so is to empower the ‘daughter of the country’, so that they can complete their education, Get enough time to build your career and become ‘self-reliant’.

Inaugurating the Technology Center of the Ministry of MSME and Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Manimandapam in Puducherry through video conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “We believe that sons and daughters are equal. By raising the age of marriage of women from 18 to 21, the government wants to enable ‘Desh ki Beti’ to make a career for herself and become self-reliant.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized on youth power

Prime Minister Narendra Modi always talks about Yuva Shakti and encourages the bravery of Yuva Shakti. Once again today he confidently said that ‘Compete and Win’ is the mantra of New India among the youth of the nation and the youth of the country has the spirit of ‘Can Do’ which is a source of inspiration for every generation.

Prime Minister Modi said after the inauguration, “India is entering the Golden Age of Startup Ecosystem with over 50,000 startups out of which more than 10 thousand startups were established in the last 6-7 months amid the challenges posed by the COVID 19 pandemic. Which is the mantra of New India ‘Competition and Win’.

PM Modi’s faith in the youth of the country is clearly visible in his words, he said during the inauguration ceremony, “Today’s youth have the spirit to do something which is a source of inspiration for every generation.” It is the strength of the youth that India has gone a long way in digital payments. Today, the youth of India is writing the code of global prosperity,’ PM Modi said, adding that it is the endeavor of the government to provide the youth with platforms and infrastructure for the development of the country.

Youth can fly without obstacles: PM Modi

PM Modi believes that young Indian youth is that bird which if given open sky, it has the courage to reach the heights by tearing the winds. PM Modi said, ‘We want our youth to fulfill their dreams without any hindrance and apprehension. We have lowered our government compliances. Schemes like Mudra Yojana, Startup India, Stand Up India, Skill India, Atal Innovation Mission and NEP are fulfilling his dreams.

PM Modi has expressed his trust in the country and where is he sure that Indian youth will take the country to the heights which we would not have thought of even in our dreams.
