LG vs CM: The tussle between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi continues for one reason or the other. At present also the LG vs CM fight is going on. Meanwhile, in the latest development, Arvind Kejriwal has turned down the invitation of LG VK Saxena.

In fact, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena called Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with his cabinet and 10 favorite MLAs to meet him on January 27. But after some time, Arvind Kejriwal sent a message saying that his visit to Punjab is already fixed due to which he cannot meet on January 27.

Responding to LG’s call, CM Kejriwal said, ‘Thank you LG sir… I am going to Punjab tomorrow. 500 mohalla clinics have to be inaugurated there, give some more time.

Why the tussle between LG and Delhi government?

Significantly, there are many such issues between the Delhi government and the LG, on which the dispute between the two has not stopped. At present, the latest tussle between the two continues over the proposal to send teachers to Finland for training. It may be noted that Kejriwal and his party MLAs had marched from Vidhansabha to Raj Niwas on January 16 to meet Saxena over the proposal for training of teachers. But after waiting for about an hour, the Chief Minister had returned.

In such a situation, CM Kejriwal had claimed that the Lieutenant Governor refused to meet him, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and AAP MLAs. However, this allegation was rejected by VK Saxena.
