Case of changing the Kovid sample of SHO: Health workers will hit the streets tomorrow, demanding the release of the arrested lab technician and registering a case against the policemen

In the matter of changing the Kovid sample of Azad Nagar police station in-charge Gurmeet Singh, health workers will take to the streets of the city tomorrow to demonstrate. There is a demand of health workers that Deepak and Neeraj Mehta, who were arrested in this case, should be released immediately and a case should be registered against the accused policemen. After the demonstration, a memorandum will also be submitted to the DGP for appropriate action in this matter. This demonstration of health workers will start after 2 pm on Thursday so that there is no obstruction in any kind of health services. During this, all the health workers will walk from the Civil Hospital to Parijat Chowk via Nagori Gate and will present a memorandum to the administrative officer in the name of DGP Haryana.

A meeting of several organizations related to the health department was held on Wednesday in the district malaria office regarding this matter. After the meeting, the staff leaders told that the police personnel used their influence and implicated the health workers by forgery and fraud. There is no evidence of money transfer in this case. Regarding the matter, by giving a complaint to the IG and DIG of the Police Department, they have requested for a fair investigation of the whole matter, but so far no positive initiative has been implemented by the police administration, due to which the release of LT Neeraj Mehta and Deepak. However, the accused involved in the case have not been arrested yet due to being on medical leave to save the police personnel.

A case of murder of a woman was registered against three people including a staff nurse in Azad Nagar police station. Police station SHO Gurmit is investigating this. The nurse’s narco test was to be held in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat, before which on March 13, samples of SHO, nurse and other employees were given at the Civil Hospital Flu Clinic. The report of others had come negative but that of the SHO did not come. A few days after the sample, the police station in-charge Gurmeet’s report came positive, due to which the accused of murder had benefited from it and their narco test could not be done.
