Mayor Balkar Sandhu raided the Corporation Zone C on Gill Road at 9 am. In this, 75 percent of the staff was found absent. The mayor sat in the office for about an hour. Gradually, the process of coming to the seats of government employees in the office continued.

The employees were immediately surprised to see the mayor sitting at the gate. On the spot, the Mayor asked the employees the reason for the delay, when no one could give a satisfactory answer, then he reprimanded the employees. At the same time, the Mayor asked the Zonal Commissioner Poonampreet Kaur – who has been a Tuhadde employee. According to the mayor, she too could not give a clear answer.

The mayor reprimanded and warned that if he comes late next time, action will be taken

The mayor warned the employees that if the employees come late in the next raid, then action will be taken against them. The Mayor said that the Chief Minister has issued instructions to all the employees and officers to reach their offices at 9 am. He told that only a few few employees reached the office at 9 in the morning. When information about the rest of the employees was inquired from them, some colleagues were told that they were on leave. Some employees were on leave without informing them.
