Let us tell you that on May 5, 2020, the standoff between India and China started after a violent clash in the Pangong Lake area of Ladakh. There have been 17 rounds of high-level military talks between the two sides regarding the border standoff in Ladakh, but no significant progress has been made in resolving the remaining issues. Amidst all this, India has insisted that peace along the Line of Actual Control (AC) is necessary for the overall development of bilateral relations with China.
