Pushkar Singh Dhami has appealed to Rahul Gandhi to apologize. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi is working with foreign forces to weaken the country. His saying that being an MP is unfortunate is an insult to the people of the country. The more they are condemned for making fun of India by going abroad, the less it is. He should apologize to the country.

‘Unfortunately I am an MP…’

Actually, Rahul Gandhi had a press conference on 16th March. During this, he said something that Congress leader Jairam Ramesh had to interrupt him. On the continuous demand of apology by the BJP, Rahul Gandhi had said that

‘Unfortunately I am a member of Parliament and I hope I will be allowed to speak in Parliament’

Then Jairam Ramesh, who was sitting next to Rahul, said in his ear that ‘you (opponents) can make fun of you for calling you a Member of Parliament unfortunately’. After Jairam interrupted, Rahul said that ‘I want to make it clear that unfortunately for you, I am a member of Parliament, but I cannot answer the allegations leveled against me’.

BJP is fiercely targeting this statement of Rahul Gandhi. Before Pushkar Singh Dhami, many leaders including BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra have tightened up.
