CM suspends village secretary in Rohtak: Action on complaints of irregularities in pension of Panchs; Manoharlal also said on old age pension

The Haryana government has suspended the village secretary, who made irregularities in the honorarium of the Panchs. CM Manohar Lal issued suspension orders on Thursday during the public hearing in Rohtak. Meanwhile, an elderly woman reached the CM with a complaint of old age pension. The CM gave him 2500 rupees from his pocket and assured that the pension would come to his house next month.

The case of Lakhnamajra section

Chief Minister Manohar Lal reached Rohtak on Thursday. The villagers of Kharak Jatan village reached the Chief Minister with a complaint. Villagers said that the village secretary has made a mistake in the honorarium being received by the Panchs. In the preliminary investigation of this matter, the discrepancy in the honorarium of the village secretary has been confirmed. After which the Chief Minister ordered the suspension of Amit Kumar, the then village secretary of Lakhan Majra block.

Pension given to the elderly out of pocket

During the public hearing, the Chief Minister gave 2500 rupees from his pocket to a lady elder. CM told the old lady ‘take this month’s pension’ and will come home from next month. The CM told the officials that there should be no delay. During this time the CM admitted that the matter of deducting the pension of some elderly people in Rohtak has come to notice. The pension of 70 people has been restored, the pension of the rest will be restored by this evening.
