New Delhi, Business Desk. Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has once again announced hike in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) rates in Delhi and other cities including bordering Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram. The new rates have come into effect from 6 am on October 13. This is the second time IGL has increased the rate within a fortnight. Due to this increase, the already low prices of petrol, diesel have got a big setback.

The gas distribution company has said that after this increase, the new rate of CNG in Delhi has gone up to Rs 49.76 per kg. At the same time, the prices of PNG have gone up to Rs 35.11 per standard cubic meter (SCM). According to the information given by IGL, the new rate of PNG in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad has gone up to Rs 34.86 per SCM. At the same time, the new rates of CNG in these cities have gone up to Rs 56.02 per kg.

New CNG Prices in Other Cities:

  • Gurugram: Rs 58.20 per kg
  • Rewari: Rs 58.90 per kg
  • Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shamli: Rs 63.28 per kg
  • Karnal and Kaithal: Rs 57.10 per kg
  • Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand: Rs 65.02 per kg
  • Kanpur, Fatehpur and Hamirpur: Rs 66.54 per kg

New rates of PNG in other cities:

  • Gurugram: Rs 33.31 per SCM
  • Rewari and Karnal: Rs 33.92 per SCM
  • Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shamli: Rs 38.37 per SCM

Indraprastha Gas Limited has said in a tweet that PNG customers can get an instant of Rs 15 by selecting the self billing option on the IGL Connect Mobile App.
