A social activist claims that the song ‘Pathala Patthala’ has made fun of the current central government and may spoil the religious harmony of the country. In such a situation, there has been a demand to remove some lyrics from the song. Also a case has been registered against the actor at the office of the Commissioner of Police in Chennai.

Demand raised to ban the film

There are some lines in the song, to which Selvam, a social activist, has objected. Selvam has also talked about going to the Madras High Court. He says that there has been a demand to ban the release of the film if action is not taken on his complaint.
