Just before the Punjab Assembly elections, actor Sonu Sood’s sister Malvika Sood has joined the Congress. Due to this there are rumors that BJP may target Sonu Sood. However, Sonu Sood said that this will not happen and it should not happen.
In a conversation with the daily, Sonu said in clear words, I don’t think it is so. My job is acting and I will continue to act. I have nothing to do with politics. At present my target is acting and serving the people. I want to help as many people as possible. My mission is not limited to Punjab. My mission is to the whole country.
I’m always with him as a brother
Sonu further says, ‘Yes, sister has joined Congress in Punjab. The assembly seat of Moga belongs to the Congress. The people there are from Congress. People are more comfortable with Congress there for what Malvika is doing. Malvika’s own decisions to enter politics, serve the people and enter the system are Malavika’s own decisions. I will always stand by him as a brother. I will always guide. But I will stay away from political distraction and affiliation.
I appreciate the work of BJP
“I don’t think I should think that I will be targeted,” he said. I appreciate the work of BJP, the states where their governments are doing amazing work and will continue to do so. The aim is to make India. Governments don’t matter. I also have many friends from BJP. I always keep telling them the same thing that keep doing better work to make the country stronger. Keep it up.’
