Vienna, App. To overcome the corona infection, Austria had to impose lockdown for the fourth time since Monday. With this, it became the first country in Europe to impose a lockdown after the introduction of the Kovid vaccination. The government has announced to make vaccination mandatory from February 1. However, due to this the festive fervor of Christmas has started to fade.
The lockdown imposed this time in Austria is not as strict as in the year 2020, when police vehicles used to keep an eye on people. Bars, restaurants, cafes, cinema halls and non-essential shops have been closed in the country for the next ten days. People have been advised to work from home as far as possible. The period of detention can be extended up to 20 days.
