CPIM leader and CITU state secretary Thakur Kashmir Singh will contest as the party’s candidate from Himachal’s Hamirpur assembly constituency. In the 14 assembly constituencies of the state, CPIM has fixed 14 candidates for the upcoming assembly elections. Including Rakesh Singha from Theog.
State Secretary Board member of Communist Party of Marxist Dr. Kashmir Singh Thakur shared the information by holding a press conference. He said that the government is destroying jobs. Aam Aadmi Party is working as B team of BJP. Because it is supporting BJP. Common people’s issues are missing. Due to rising inflation and rising unemployment, common people are worried.
But, the government is bent on outsourcing everything. He said that the number of children in government schools is continuously decreasing. Every work is being outsourced and BJP is benefitting its contractors. Thakur alleged that the medical college at Hamirpur has become a referral hospital. Many of the patients who are being referred from here are dying on the way.
Party functionaries Joginder Kumar and Suresh Kumar were also present on the occasion. Due to inflation, it has become difficult for women to run the stove. The LPG cylinder which was of 430 in the year 2014 has become of 1150 today. The government is selling flour, rice, pulses, oil at double the price than before. Mustard oil is being sold 200 liters. Which was earlier sold in 70 to 80.
The government has increased the prices of fertilizers. Petrol and diesel is being sold from 95 to 100 per litre. The government has ended jobs in all departments. Today MNREGA workers are not getting wages. The money for cement and sand and gravel is not coming in the work of MNREGA. The BJP government has lost its support base. People are troubled by inflation, unemployment, corruption and nepotism.
