Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma, after defeating Chennai Super Kings in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Thursday, said that initially he was a bit nervous due to early wickets. But he was confident that he would register victory. Two of the most successful IPL teams have been eliminated from the tournament.
Five-time champion Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma said after the match, “When our wickets fell in the beginning, we were a little nervous but were confident that we will win the match. We know the pitch of Wankhede.” After the fall of the opening wicket, Tilak Verma (34 not out) played carefully and led the team to victory. Rohit said, “Tilak has done amazingly in the first year itself, his spirit is superb.”
