A 72-year-old woman died of covid
The health of 72-year-old Sonbai Yadav, resident of village Dhuma, had started deteriorating and she had symptoms of corona. The test confirmed that he was infected. After this he was kept in home isolation. But when his health did not improve, he was admitted to RB Hospital on June 20. He died there on Thursday.
Earlier, the death took place on 16 February.
For about four months, the process of death from Corona had stopped. Earlier on February 16, an 18-year-old girl had died. After 123 days, an elderly woman has died from Corona again. At the same time, gradually the corona infection has started increasing.
Infection coming from other states, no attention to contact tracing
It is being told that during the summer vacation, people of the city and the district went on another state tour. It is believed that only people coming from other places are bringing the infection. Metropolis like Maharashtra and Delhi are hot spots of Corona. Even after this, the staff of the Health Department is neither investigating at the airport nor the railway station. In such a situation, contact tracing is not being done.
The number of patients is increasing continuously in the urban area
On Wednesday, the Health Department has confirmed that eight new corona infected have been found in the district. In this, five people, including the employees of Apollo Hospitals, are residents of the city. Apart from this, one infected each has been identified from Takhatpur, Kota and Bilha blocks. With this, the number of active patients in the district has gone up to 63. The situation is that now an average of seven to eight patients are being found daily.
