In Sangod town of the district, about one and a half hundred white herons were seen dead in the Mandap of Kundanpur area on Wednesday, due to which there was a topic of discussion among the people. Brijraj Nagar of the village told that there is a Peepal tree near the pond in the village, on which about two hundred and fifty herons used to sit daily, but when people got up early on Wednesday, they saw dead herons under the tree and in other places around the pond.
Seeing this, the people of the town were shocked. The information was given to the sub-divisional officer Anjana Sarawat, who sent the veterinary doctor and the team of the forest department to the mandap. Forest department worker Rambabu Meghwal Durgashankar and others buried 60 herons by digging a pit there. To investigate the cause of death, five herons were taken by veterinarian Manfooz Ali Kota. After that it will be known what was the cause of death. People told that for the first time the incident of heron dying in such a large number has been seen for the first time.
Somebody is here, some is there
When the daily correspondent reached there after the death of about one hundred and fifty herons in the pavilion, he saw that some heron was lying here and there. Dead herons were seen in the bushes even in the nearby and far away fields.
I reached the spot and sent some samples of the dead herons and sent them to Kota forensic lab, only after the investigation comes, the cause of death will be known – Mahfouz Ali Veterinarian Kundanpur
