Due to which now the aircraft will fly with its 100 percent passenger capacity from October 18. Despite this, the guidelines of Kovid-19 will have to be followed during the flight. Let us inform that in view of the increasing number of passengers in the festive season, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has taken this decision. This will benefit the airlines, along with this passengers will also get cheap tickets. The public relations officer of the airport says that this is a good decision, due to this passengers will not face any kind of problem during the festive season.
Earlier 1200 to 1500 passengers used to go, now the number is beyond 6000
Due to the festive season and less cases of corona infection, once again the movement of passengers at Chandigarh International Airport has started increasing. Till two to three months ago, where the daily movement of passengers from Chandigarh airport was between 1200 to 1500, now the number of passengers has started crossing 6000. Let us tell you that before the lockdown, there was movement of 15 to 20 thousand people daily from the airport.
Operation of 41 flights from Chandigarh Airports
At present, 41 flights are operating from Chandigarh International Airport. There are direct flights from the airport to cities like Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Srinagar, Ahmedabad, Goa, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kullu, Pune, Dharamsala, Leh, Lucknow, Kolkata, Hisar, Dehradun, Dharamsala and Shimla.
