The Rana couple has once again opened a front against the CM Uddhav government in Maharashtra. As promised, MPs Navneet and Ravi Rana began their padyatra and recited Hanuman Chalisa at the old Hanuman temple in New Delhi on Saturday. With heavy police force, the Independent MP and Independent MLA along with his supporters started the march towards Old Hanuman Mandir in Delhi. After reaching the temple, the Rana couple started reciting Hanuman Chalisa and the people accompanying them also raised slogans of “Jai Shri Ram” after the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa.

After reciting Hanuman Chalisa at Old Hanuman Mandir in Delhi, Navneet Rana said, “Now I will fight against corruption. Uddhav Thackeray has the Lanka of corruption in Maharashtra. Now a war will start against this Lanka. Uddhav Thackeray Are against Hindutva. If they have left some Hindu ideology, they will start their rally with Hanuman Chalisa. Uddhav Thackeray is working with BMC for a very long time and he is involved in corruption. Till I expose it Don’t, I won’t leave.”

Earlier, Navneet Rana had spoken to Republic about his padyatra and said, “No one can stop me from reciting Hanuman Chalisa. We will fight against the Uddhav government. I was tortured for 14 days. Reciting Hanuman Chalisa is not a crime. I challenge Uddhav Thackeray to contest the election against me.” She further added, “Shiv Sena has now become Congress Sena. Hindutva supporters are now with PM Modi, Shivsena has forgotten Hindutva.”

At the same time, her husband Ravi Rana said, “Uddhav Thackeray accused those who wanted to recite Hanuman Chalisa of sedition and put him in jail, while welcoming those who offered flowers at Aurangzeb’s tomb. Today we will begin our evening meeting by reciting Hanuman Chalisa. Especially Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will also hold a public meeting today on May 14.

Rana couple announced to recite Hanuman Chalisa

Earlier on Wednesday, Navneet Rana and Ravi Rana announced that they would perform Maha Aarti at Delhi’s old Hanuman temple on May 14, the same day when Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is scheduled to hold a public meeting. The announcement came amid an ongoing clash with the Shiv Sena, when the Rana couple were arrested late last month for singing religious hymns outside CM Thackeray’s residence Matoshree.
