Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the nation through the first ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program of the year 2023. During this, PM Modi said that India is the Mother of Democracy. Addressing the 97th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the Prime Minister said that democracy is in our veins, in our culture. He said that we are a democratic society by nature.
In ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the Prime Minister said that India is the largest democracy in the world and we Indians are also proud that our country is also the Mother of Democracy. While addressing the program, PM Modi also made a special appeal to the people of the country. PM Modi urged the citizens of the country to read about the lives and stories of the ‘Padma’ awardees. Modi said that a large number of Padma awardees come from tribal communities and people associated with tribal society. They said,
Many Padma awardees are those comrades among us, who always kept the country paramount, dedicated their lives to the principle of nation first. He engaged in his work with devotion and never expected any reward for it. The satisfaction on the face of those for whom they are working is the biggest award for them.

PM Modi said that this time there are many people who have enriched the world of music among those who have been honored with the Padma Awards. He said that this year the echo of Padma Awards is being heard even in those areas which used to be Naxal affected. Due to their efforts, those who showed the right path to the misguided youths in Naxalite affected areas were honored with Padma awards.
His contribution in the development of the country and society is very important. The respect of the personalities who worked for them will also inspire the new generation.
