Ahan Shetty told during a conversation with news agency PTI that ‘I was taking training for many years. I used to meet producers and directors on the sets. Because he was my father’s friend and colleague. But that does not mean that I will get leave from them. I wouldn’t say it was easy. Sajid sir saw my action and dance videos and called me. He also asked me to send me some audition tapes. But all this had nothing to do with me getting the film and my father being an actor. I got this film because of my talent.

According to PTI, Ahan told that ‘he wanted to become an actor since he was 11 years old and soon after completing his graduation in the year 2014, he started taking acting and dance training and in the year 2016 I did a film with Sajid sir. Signed the contract. But he realized that I was not fully prepared and mature. So I kept on learning.

He further shared, ‘Sajid sir and I have seen and read many different scripts and in 2018 he bought the ride of RX 100. After which we made up our mind to do this film. After that I started concentrating more on my training. It has been a long journey but I am very excited to show my work to the world. While talking about the character of the film, he said that it is not a normal love story. This is a character with two different people. It really presented a challenge for me. But I accepted it. It was a bit difficult to play this character.
