Doctor committed suicide in Surat: If the name did not appear in the merit list of PG-NEET, the doctor gave his life, was practicing MBBS

A young man committed suicide by hanging himself in Adajan area on Monday due to lack of name in the PG NEET list. Dr. Shreyansh Deepak Modi, who ended his life, had done MBBS and appeared for MD, PG-NEET.

According to the information received from the police, Dr. Shreyansh Deepak Modi, who worked in Surabhi Hospital, Adajan, had given PG NEET exam for MD studies after completing MBBS at Smier Hospital, Sahara Darwaza. The result came, but Shreyansh’s name was not there in the list. This made him sad.

On Monday evening, Shreyansh hanged himself in the house by tying a dupatta to the fan. The family took him to the hospital to save him, but was declared dead there. Shreyans’s father is associated with diamond business. The result of PG-NEET exam was declared on Monday. Adajan Police is investigating the matter.

Name did not appear in the merit list despite having 435 marks
Shreyas’s mother told that despite my son getting 435 marks in PG, NEET examination, his name did not figure in the merit. This hurt him so much that he gave up his life. The son saw the merit list at 5:50 pm and committed suicide by entering the room after 10 minutes.
