A newborn died in the womb due to the merciless system. The case is of Naogaon in Chhatarpur district. Here a pregnant woman kept circling the hospital and doctors for six hours. After a lot of effort, the mother was admitted to the hospital, but without treatment she was referred to Chhatarpur District Hospital. When the government ambulance was not available from the hospital, the mother gave birth to a dead child on the way while being taken by a private vehicle. Now in this case, the Collector has spoken of strict action against the guilty doctors. CMHO has sought response by giving notice to BMO, duty doctor, nurse.
The case is of Barat village of Naugaon. Where, at 7 am on Thursday, Gyan Rajput came to the Naugaon Community Center with his pregnant daughter-in-law. Here the duty staff of the delivery ward said to deliver from 9 am to 10 am, but did not admit her for delivery.
Accusing the hospital, Gyan Rajput told that since morning he did not give bed to the daughter-in-law. For some time she remained lying on the ground. Shortly before the delivery time came, the entire staff changed. The other staff also did not admit the pregnant. He was referred six hours after coming to the hospital at around one o’clock. Gyan says we did not have money. Ambulance was not found from the hospital, after which the good man started taking the daughter-in-law to the hospital in his car. During this, she gave birth to a child near Navodaya on the way. But he was dead. Took him back to the hospital.
Government ambulance not found
Even after having an ambulance in the Government Hospital of Naogaon, the maternity was not made available. Due to this he had to wander here and there for a private vehicle.
Collector said – action will be taken against the guilty
Chhatarpur Collector Sandeep GR said that CMHO has been directed in case of delivery of pregnant woman in Naugaon Hospital, action should be taken against whoever is guilty. CMHO Vijay Pathoria says that the information has been received by you. Answer is being sought by giving notice to all the doctors, nurses on duty including BMO. I am probing it myself, legal action will be taken against whoever is guilty.
