Elevated road will be built with Malaysia’s high-class technology: Gwalior-Agra Expressway will be connected with Yamuna Expressway, Delhi will reach in three hours

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, who came to Gwalior to lay the foundation stone and inaugurate the roads worth 1158 crores, announced at the function that elevated road of both phases on Swarn Rekha in Gwalior city would be built with state-of-the-art new technology from Malaysia. In this technique, the pillars will have to be installed very less. Roads and bridges made with Malaysian technology are very strong and attractive. Tenders for both the phases of the elevated road will be floated simultaneously. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the 6-lane Agra-Gwalior Greenfield Expressway would be connected to Yamuna Expressway.

After this, the distance from Delhi to Gwalior can be covered in just three to four hours. The construction of this expressway, about 87 km long, will be done at a cost of about 2500 crores. He announced that Logistic Park would also be set up along the Agra-Gwalior Expressway. Union Minister Gadkari also announced that the old Gwalior-Agra road would be renovated and four lane cement concrete road would be made, its orders have been issued. Phone lane highway has also been approved between Gwalior-Etawah.

Gwalior-Bhind will be four-lane
Union Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari also announced in the program that Gwalior-Bhind-Etawa National Highway would be converted into a four-lane road at a cost of Rs. 1200 crore. Its DPR is being prepared. Similarly, 72 km long four-lane road will be constructed from Morena to Sabalgarh at a cost of Rs.300 crore. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar had demanded the construction of both these roadways. Fulfilling the demand of Union Minister Tomar, he also announced the construction of a flyover from the barrier intersection to the railway station in Morena city.
Atal Expressway will connect with other expressways
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, who came to lay the foundation stone and inaugurate 7 road projects worth Rs 1158 crore, 222 km, said that the construction of Atal Expressway will prove to be revolutionary in the development of Gwalior-Chambal zone. The Bhoomi Pujan of this expressway, which is going to be built in a length of 415 km from Kota to Etawah at a cost of about 20 thousand crores, will be done within the next three months. He said that this expressway would be connected with Bundelkhand and Yamuna Expressway and Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Obviously the development of Gwalior-Chambal zone will get new wings. Union Minister Gadkari suggested to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to set up logistic parks, industries and education hubs on both sides of the Atal Expressway.
Ropeway will be constructed from Phulbagh fort
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced in the program that a ropeway would be constructed from Phulbagh to Fort in Gwalior city at a cost of Rs 120 crore. With this new dimensions will be established in the tourism development of Gwalior. Along with this, tourism will also get a boost. Due to which Gwalior will be developed. Along with this, 15 ropeways have been approved in the state.
Railway overbridge to be built in Jalalpur
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also announced the construction of a new railway overbridge between Jalalpur-Barua in Gwalior on the occasion. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and State Minister of State with independent charge Bharat Singh Kushwaha had drawn the attention of Union Minister Gadkari to this. With the construction of this ROB, about two dozen villages including Jalalpur and Baraua will get the facility of smooth movement. Along with this, the devotees going to Shanishchara temple will also have ease of movement.
Gwalior will be made an industrial hub by making an Equation Center – Chief Minister Shri Chouhan
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced on this occasion that the industrial splendor of Gwalior would be restored. Gwalior will again be made an industrial hub by constructing an Equation Center. He said that Gwalior is a fast growing city. Along with industrial investment, work will also be done to make tourism, medical and electronic hub here. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state government is committed to the fact that our youth should not be job seekers but become job givers. Also said that the government is going to recruit one lakh within a year. He also said that industrial businesses would be established on both sides of Agra Expressway and Chambal Expressway, which would provide new employment opportunities.

Union Minister Scindia raised the demand for Chambal water
In the program, Union Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Scindia thanked for approving the first phase of the elevated road. Along with this, approval of the cost of second phase and several schemes of the area were highlighted. Scindia said that they come from Delhi to Agra, but the journey of 100 km from Agra to Gwalior is completed in two and a half to three hours. Therefore, he has demanded a 6-lane road between Agra-Gwalior from Union Minister Gadkari. Along with this, Scindia has also requested CM Shivraj Singh for approval on the project of bringing water from Chambal to Gwalior.
Earlier there were poet conferences on the pits of the roads, now the highways are shining
Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that till a few years ago, poets used to make the audience laugh by reading poems on the potholes of the roads of Madhya Pradesh, but now the roads of Madhya Pradesh are discussed.
