Jagran Correspondent, Panipat: In the new academic session 2022-23, the last date of application for admission in government model culture lead and primary schools has been extended. Now students who want to get admission in model schools will be able to apply till tomorrow, May 10. English medium will be taught in these schools. However, where there is only one school, the government has given the option of studying in Hindi medium along with English.

There are six Government Model Culture Lead Schools and 58 Government Model Culture Primary Schools in Panipat district. In these, the admission process started from April 5. After submitting the applications by 25 April, the draw was done on 26 May and the waiting list was issued on 1 May. But in many schools, admissions are not done as expected, then the department has once again given opportunity to the deprived students to get admission in model schools. District Elementary Education Officer Brijmohan Goyal told that the students who could not get admission in the model schools have been given a chance. Model schools have been built at the block and assembly level

From the last session itself, government model culture lead schools were established at the block and assembly level in the state. In these schools of CBSE board, education will be provided through English medium only. Along with this, English medium Government Model Culture Primary Schools have been set up in big villages, towns and cities. The objective of establishing the said schools is to create a center of excellence by providing excellent infrastructural facilities. reserved seats

Whose annual income is up to 1.80 lakhs. For those children, 20 percent seats are reserved in the section.

Whose annual income is from 1.80 to 2.40 lakhs. For those children, 10 percent seats will be reserved in the section.

Three seats are reserved in each section for the children of SC category, two for BCA and one for BCB and two seats are also reserved for orphans, disabled and HIV affected children. Maximum number of students in the section

Maximum 30 students per section from class I to V.

Maximum 35 students per section from class VI to VIII

Maximum 40 students per section from class IX to XII.
