Crime Branch 56 has arrested a man who is accused of trying to loot money from the bank by burglarizing after the bank refused to give him a loan. Taking action on the direction of Faridabad DCP Crime Mukesh Kumar Malhotra, ACP Crime Surendra Sheoran arrested the accused who tried to rob the bank by burglarizing it. Police spokesperson Sube Singh said that the name of the arrested accused is Robin, who is a resident of Silakhari village in Faridabad. On January 21, a case was registered against him under the sections of theft in Dhauj police station, in which the accused tried to loot the money by burglarizing the Gramin Bank, but when the money was not received, the accused had stolen the mobile.
Acting on the basis of information from secret sources, the Crime Branch team arrested the accused. Police interrogation revealed that the accused was in need of money, so the accused had gone to the bank three-four days ago to take a loan, but the bank refused to give the loan, so the accused made a plan to loot the money from the bank. At night after the bank was closed, the accused reached the bank with a saw screwdriver and entered inside the bank by cutting the grille with a saw. After this, the accused searched the almirah and drawer there but he could not find the money because the money is kept in the chamber of the bank, about which the accused did not know.
The accused tried to open the lock of the strong room but he could not succeed in that also. Exhausted, the accused stole the official mobile from the manager’s office and fled. Saw screwdriver and stolen mobile have been recovered from the possession of the accused and after completion of the interrogation, the accused has been presented in the court and sent to jail.
