Now farmers in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh have also come out against the Agneepath scheme of the Central Government. They protested outside the DC office and the farmers called the scheme anti-youth. Also demanded its immediate withdrawal.
The farmers gathered outside the DC office under the leadership of Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar, State President of Kisan Sabha. During this, State President Tanwar said that due to Corona, the army has not been recruited for 2 years. Therefore, at least 2 years relaxation should be given in army recruitment. Said that the Modi government sitting at the center is engaged in misleading the youth. On one hand it is talking about giving employment. On the other hand, it is thinking of pushing into unemployment.
He says that if the government plays with the career of the youth, then the youth will not tolerate it at all. Under the BJP rule, the work of deceiving the youth is always being done. There are many such youth who are preparing for the service of the country by joining the army from the beginning, their dream has been ruined.
Himachal Kisan Sabha alleges that the recruitment guidelines issued by the Central Government have shocked the youth. His future is at stake. In the long run, the youth preparing for recruitment in the army will now have only 4 years of service. No concrete plan has been made about what will happen to them after that. The Center has made changes after implementing the scheme, but they are not satisfied with them.
